The Fight Before Christmas – A Best Fiends Animation

THE FIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS ‘Twas the Night before Slugmas, when all around Mount Boom, not a creature was stirring, not.

THE FIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS ‘Twas the Night before Slugmas,
when all around Mount Boom, not a creature was stirring,
not one in the room. The crates were all stacked
by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Slugolas
soon would be there. The Fiends were nestled
all snug in their beds, while visions of meteormites
danced in their heads. And Temper in cap
and also his cape, had fallen asleep
with his mouth all agape. When out in the night
there arose such a clatter, Temper sprang from his bed
to see what was the matter. I SAID… Temper sprang from his bed
to see what was the matter. Fine… Howie sprang from his bed
to see what was the matter. Away to the window
I flew like a flash, grabbed hold of the edge,
and threw it back with a crash. When what to my wondering eyes
should appear, but a miniature sleigh
and eight tiny slugdeer. With a chubby old driver,
so slow and so thick, I knew in a moment it must be Slug Nick. So up on the rooftop
the Slugs they did ooze, while inside the house,
the Fiends continued to snooze. As I hurried down the stairs
by leaps and by hops, Down the chimney
St. Slugolas came with a plop. He was gooey and plump, a right jolly old chump. A wink of an eye
and a nod of his head, soon let me know
that I had nothing to dread. He spoke not a word,
as I approached with some sweets, for I knew St. Slugolas may want
something to eat. I felt proud of myself
for Slug Nick was fed. Oh! Hey! I said NOTHING TO DREAD! This wasn’t a question
of naughty or nice, for I had a plan
to make this Slug think twice. Hm? Seriously? No [bleep]ing way! After the dust did settle
from this Christmas battle, Slug Nick remained
enraged and unrattled. So into his bag of goodies I scoured for the one gift I know
would make this Slug cower. SEA SALT With a raising of brow
and baring of teeth, up the chimney he rose
without disturbing the wreath. But I heard him proclaim
before he sailed into the mist… Howie, I’ll get you for this!
Ho! Ho! Ho! Am I dreaming? I thought I heard Santa just say Howie? – What happened in here?
– He-he. Merry Christmas? And the Fiends forgave Howie
for the presents he charred… A-a-ah! All right, fine, they just chucked
him out into the yard. Happy Holidays from the Best Fiends!
